A single store in a national chain of thousands closing is probably not abnormal. But when your company tells you it’s not safe to leave the building in broad daylight, that’s disturbing.

 

That’s stunning. It would be better served as a stat if accompanied by more context, but if only one of every three crimes is pursued, aren’t they asking you to break the law?
