    Given my experience with large construction projects, I’d love to see Fisher saddled with a $500M cost overrun.

    The Severino signing is a nice kick in the nards to Oakland fans. Biggest contract offered by the A's since Eric Chavez in 20 years. Think about that. The last 20 years, they always had the money, and given the revenue increases, had a lot more they chose not to spend. Or maybe Severino is just a huge fan of Sacramento. Wonder if he ever throws a pitch in Vegas.
