Pretty much what I said a dozen or so pages back.

According to other reports On The Internets, members of congress are being allowed to see the photos, which means it's simply a matter of days, maybe hours, before they leak.

Basically Obama has a choice about the pictures: does he want to release them, or does he want to allow Michelle Bachmann, Rupert Murdoch or Julian Assange to do it?

    Just a matter of time.

  3. It'd be neat to see a photo...but I don't need to see it. It's more for curiosity than proof.
I beleive OBL's dead thanks to the SEAL team.

I kind of wonder how many news outlets would run the photo anyway.

I'm sure at some point down the road, years maybe, it will be released or leaked.

It's the Internet. It'll be incorporated into a meme by this time next week.

All this teeth-gnashing over fog-of-war original dispatches fail to mention one thing:

There's no way in hell this house is worth $1 million, like every keeps saying!

You know the photos will be plastered wall-to-wall across every Murdoch outlet in the world, accompanied by endless breathless verge-of-tears hand-wringing kvetching by the bouncing-boobed anchor-bimbos about how horrible, how awful it is that Obama is forcing us to see these pictures again and again.

And again, and again. And after these words from our sponsors, again and again.

Anybody here think bin Laden isn't dead? Anybody? Why cater to crazy people if you believe, as Obama evidently does, that publishing the pictures might generate more terrorist activity? I imagine there's a CIA study somewhere of the impact of the showing of the videos and pictures of Saddam Hussein's execution, and that it might be influencing policy here.
Will the nuts holler? Sure. Fuck 'em.

So do I. And I also always believed him born in the U.S. from the first. But people like you and I aren't the reason I believe this evidence needs to be released.

The best Fire Departments know that you vigorously attack the tiny brushfires before they grow into infernos, I sometimes get the impression the Obama White House doesn't fully get that.

The festering impression that this might be lie and OBL still alive could inspire a shitload of disaffected young jihadists. And a White House that reports falsehoods about the raid and publically backtracks on promises to release proof is like rocket fuel for that fire.

  9. I have a co-worker - in the sports department - who believes either: A: OBL is NOT dead or B: He was killed a long time ago and it was kept a secret.
Either way he does not think OBL was killed in the raid. And he thinks any pictures will be faked.
    He's also a birther.

“We don’t trot this stuff out as trophies,” the president told CBS,

After Sunday night Obama should have told his entire team to go dark. Too many cooks have now spoiled the narrative.

They should have never paraded Brennen out on Monday. He now looks like a clown.

Not Obama but it seemed like too many on his staff wanted to attach themselves to the story and puff their chests out.

The next time evidence thwarts a conspiracy theory will be the first time. To think that releasing the photos will stop that talk is to misunderstand how the mind of the conspiracy theorist works.

Well, the reason "everyone keeps saying" it is because that's what the White House told us in their briefing. I do hope the million dollar assertion is not proven to be yet another "embellishment." But, from the picture, yeah, you sure gotta wonder...
