    "The Anti-Obama brigade."

    "The pro-Obama crowd."

Fuck, I wish you people would step back and look at yourselves sometimes. Fucking caricatures.

Right - the same crew that was critical of Bush - Cheney for how they trashed the constitution, through torture, lawlessness, unilateralism.

If the U.S. Army was flying them, it would be a Chinook, or CH-47, which is capable of carrying 43 men with full combat loads, and many more in "seats-out" operations.

If the CIA was flying them, it was most likely an old Russian MI-8. About the same size as a Chinook, but can carry much more weight and is much, much cheaper. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles, either.

I doubt there's any new, stealth helicopter. Just the thought of that doesn't make sense.

Lindsey Graham makes a solid argument for releasing the photos, I think.

    Via CNN.com:
“I respectfully disagree with President Obama’s decision not to release the photos. It’s a mistake. The whole purpose of sending our soldiers into the compound, rather than an aerial bombardment, was to obtain indisputable proof of Bin Laden’s death. I know Bin Laden is dead. But the best way to protect and defend our interests overseas is to prove that fact to the rest of the world. I’m afraid the decision made today by President Obama will unnecessarily prolong this debate.”

We could have blown the compound to hell, but the administration was worried we couldn't recover a body and leave people wondering whether we really got him. Saying, "We have a DNA test to prove it," kind of defeats that purpose.

Boy, the bin Laden photo debate is inflaming passions almost as much as the Dale Earnhardt photo debate.

Does the wise Mr. Graham explain why people who need photographic proof of Osama's demise won't jump to the conclusion said photos aren't doctored?

    I thought not.

    Short answer:

Although the guy running the country has a bright mind he is the CEO of a big corporation and that corporation is populated far too many incompetent employees who clearly flunked In-house Comm 101.

    ClusterHfuck.

Or to many employees with too much hubris that want to make themselves part of story.

Gee, knock me over with a feather. Dick thinks Obama has been a good president. Let's not even start that debate because, I am sure, a few people on here have loads and loads of evidence to the contrary. Your opinion is noted, however.

Late reply thanks to lunch, but...

I would have expected him to make "Death by Chocolate to America Cake", myself.
