The problem is that for years the right of SJ has been lectured by the ample SJ left on how Bush has trashed the rule of law in his pursuit of Bin Laden.

Now that we have bought into the idea, the SJ left is now trying to change the narrative.

It takes a special kind of <fill in the word I am thinking> to turn a thread about Osama Bin Laden FINALLY being found and killed -- something I would have guessed 99 percent of us would have found amazing after nearly 10 years -- into the same stupid BS from the usual suspects. I'm deciding whether to lock it and put it out of the misery you are causing it. I just can't believe even this thread can't exist without a handful of people spilling their usual moronic bickering onto it.

I guess I'm naive and take a lot of the debates here at face value. For kicks, I turned on the liberal radio station on the drive home and heard a lot of the talking points and arguments about the "left" and the "right" being shouted about. I just don't watch that stuff very much or listen to it or read it, but today really showed me why I tend to come off as a naive twit on political/current event threads a lot of the time. I didn't even know that there were national partisan arguments going on in which TP's had coalesced already. I really didn't.

I will now leave the conversation. Not because I'm being a martyr or anything. But because I'm kind of embarrassed for being so out of the loop. So may times. Sorry, guys. Carry on.

It could be, with a little help from Home Depot and a swimming pool.

It may have been, before the U.S. Navy's Special Warfare Development Group's forward-thinking remodeling plan.

That looks like an apartment building I had in Valencia, Calif.

Ridiculous- Most of this tread is about questions on White House narrative which has changed in 2 days.

Are we not allowed to question things?

I think the Persian carpet in bin ladens bedroom is worth more than the house. Specially in EBAY value.

How much value is taken off by the bloodstains, you think?

Not for nothing, but I don't care one way or another about releasing the photos. The Arab street is going to wallow in conspiracy theories one way or another. Right now, they don't believe he's dead. If they released photos, they'd either riot (as some politicians have suggested) or simply believe they were photo-shopped -- probably both at the time time, since they live in a world where logic is non-existent.
