That's because we're the same poster.

    Not at all.

But, I would like some consistency in the answers.

And, I would like some people to admit that whether the President is Barack Obama or George W. Bush, they have to make tough decisions to protect the American people.

And, I'd like those decisions to be questioned with equal fervor and to be judged with equal deference.

And there was a time not so long ago when folks on our side of the debate were asking the questions, and some of your compatriots were branding us traitors or worse.

    You say pot-tay-to, I say po-tah-to.

It's happened on both sides. But it's not the norm. Both sides need to start ignoring the idiot fringe.

Question the decisions all you want. It's the petty political finger-pointing that folks are calling you out on.

    Nothing to see there.

Just as secretariat repeatedly told us that he wasn't who he later admitted to be, Mark has assured us that they are not one in the same.

    So, I totally believe him/them.

Repeating myself from an earlier page, and I realize this will come off as very partisan, but the Bush Administration lied us into a war and bullied their political opponents and misled us and hid information from us and, oh yeah, STOPPED HUNTING OSAMA BIN LADEN BECAUSE THEY WERE MORE INTERESTED IN SADDAM HUSSEIN. I think it's fair to look at their history and Obama's history and weigh the actions and responses differently.

You are acting as if the situations and histories are equal. They most certainly are not.

I love that while you are one of the most liberal and partisan posters on the board, you consider yourself in the mainstream of the political left and not on the fringe.

    Maybe that's true.

I just took the last five minutes to look through all of my posts. At no point did I deny being anyone. I did deny being a sock puppet, since I'm not.

If you want to believe I'm McGwire, feel free. It's no skin off my taint.

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
    --Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
--Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by:
-- Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
-- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

Frankly, YF, I couldn't care less about your opinion of where I fall. The thoughts of some yahoo on a message board just don't rate that high on my list of what matters ... even less nowadays. But thanks for demonstrating exactly what I was talking about. If and when this thread gets locked, own your role.

    Late.

That, of course, is what I already presumed. And there's a couple other handles that I've also suspected might be whoever you actually are.

What I don't quite get is, why? You seem like an intelligent guy, too much so to be so fond of the trollish sock puppet games. But I guess if it gives you kicks...
