    Al Jazeera's says "US media reports" say he was killed in mansion outside Islamabad, Pakistan.

    John King says statement is delayed because administration is 'trying to notify' certain members of congress, other world leaders. Okay, what?? How hard is it for the President of the US to get anyone on the phone??

    'Hon, president's on the phone...'
    'Huh? At this hour? Idiot. I'll call back tomorrow. Go to bed.'

    I just finished rearranging the front and jump to make room for whatever we can get in the next 30 minutes. This was our final day of the big annual festival, so the centerpiece stays on A1. I'll strip the story with easily the biggest lead headline since I've been here. Also killed a wire story on the front and downplayed a local story to create as much room as possible. Resent color on jump; will resend color on the front shortly.
