    You can't see Mitch McConnell saying this? And I dont say that because Mitch is a republican. I say it because Mitch is a miserable old crank.

    About as hard as it would be to buy flowers, apparently. Just tell them to turn on the news. It's not like they don't know by now.

    One weird thing. ...We were by the old World Trade Center sight where the new tower is going up this weekend, and we went into the "memorial" storefront on Vesey Street. I made it only about a minute and a half b/c the place made sick to my stomach. I liked the idea of the memorial and I had never gone in there before, but right after I saw the exhibits, I turned left and there was a gift shop area selling 9/11 things. I realize the money was probably going to something good, but looking at the tourists milling about in there, it felt like 9/11 was some abstract thing to them, like a CGI effect they saw in a movie on TV. It's just odd to me that a day after that, out of nowhere, they are announcing that Bin Laden is dead. It makes me feel so much better.

    I don't care who gets the credit. That's not important. What is important is that the world is a better place without this man walking the Earth.
