Be careful what you wish for.
Oh, and someone has already asked, "did you inhale?" And he was like, "yep, I used to wake and bake."
I was reading online a story about a governor's race in Tennessee, I think, and they asked the candidates who they were pulling for in the World Series. One guy said Cardinals and that he was a life-long fan. The other guy said he liked the Cards in the National League, and the Tigers were his team in the American League. So he was happy either way.
So dude, apparently, has a rep for waffling, and he gets blasted for not being able to make a decision and how that was just typical of him to say both.
Turns out the guy spent his formative years in Detroit and the small Southern town he was from, was the hometown of a Hall of Famer for the Tigers and the town was legendary for having this loyal pack of Tigers fans, even though it was thousands of miles away.
So if Obama was cool, he'd say he was from Kansas, loved the Royals and hates David Glass.

Who thought Kerry was a party savior? He wasn't even a favorite going into primaries. He was ABB, Anyone But Bush.

Would he give any thought to making Alan Keyes his running mate?

Kerry was the favorite of the hardnosed party pros in '04, who were waiting for Dean to
make his big mistake, then swooped down to rake in the chips. And if he'd been 15% less
of a haughty Massachusetts liberal marrying-for-money pill with a most-annoying wife,
    he STILL would've won.

You call them "save the world" types.

Everybody else just calls them regular candidates.

And maybe if you guys would stop fucking up the world it wouldn't need saving.

    "It's morning in America."

Thank goodness someone came along to "save" us from evening in America.

    2000: "Character matters."

Thank goodness someone came along to "save" us from a government racked by scandal.

  6. "democrat party."
