Obama stealing speeches?

I don't dabble in logical fallacies.

    See above.

Really, you're not making any comprehensible point.

Obama has never had to play political hardball. In the primary, he's been inside a secure media bubble that defends against every point of criticism on him, and has attacked his chief rival.

    David Axelrod and David Plouffe.

They're competent, but in the end it always comes down to the candidate. The candidate has never won a competitive election. The candidate does not know how to respond to attacks. The candidate has talked himself into positions that will get him drilled in the general.

More sour grapes from POO. Please point out the competitive races Hillary has won. Cite examples.

And please quit this MSM is the big bad wolf meme. It's not the MSM's fault that Hillary has run a horribly ineffective campaign.

You don't really want to have an argument about which candidate has a better record of effectiveness in dealing with a vitriolic right-wing opposition.

I don't know. As Jon Stewart joked after Obama won their primaries, "because when did Maine and Nebraska NOT vote for the black man?" Maine is the whitest state in the union, according to the stats, and Nebraska's got to be close. And he won those contests by fairly wide margins.

Well, we know it's not McCain.

Yes because Rick Lazio was such an effective GOP candidate. Or are you referring to her time in the White House where she effectively killed any shot at health-care reform?

    I think he's counting Bill's elections.

I thought she was her own candidate. I thought Bill's accomplishments had nothing to do with her.

    Whoa, spup.
I know the Hildebeast is the punching bag around here, but let's not minimize her senatorial election. When she got in, she wasn't running against Lazio. She got in when the prospective R candidate was the powerful hunk that is Rudy! And she worked extremely hard to build support upstate, where they didn't know her at all. Lazio was a respected young congresscritter at the time. She just beat him like a drum. And, as for health-care in 1993, you've got to give some credit to the opposition, Bill (oppose any plan) Kristol, Democratic moles like Breaux and Jim Cooper, and Harry and Louise.

I'm late to this thread which I take is no longer about stealing speeches?

Anybody remember what I posted awhile back-- what my buddy wrote?

Hey - I voted for Obama, and I don't think he's a plagiarist. But he needs to be careful, no?

And McCain has? Only tight election he's ever been in was his first Republican House primary.

The hell with it. You believe what you want.
