Andor does a great job following up on one of the things they have done well in the more recent Star Wars projects, depicting the evil and corruption of the Empire.

Andor seems to be disliked because there are no Jedi or lightsabers, but I find it far more interesting than Boba Fett or Obi-Wan. Where did the rebellion start, how did we get to "Help me, Obi-wan Kenobi, you're my only hope"?

It was certainly better than Boba Fett, which sucked aside from the parts where it became The Mandalorian Season 2.5. I liked Obi-Wan, but it was uneven. Parts of Andor were really slow, but it absolutely finished strong.

Obi-Wan was probably my least favorite of the series. Something about it felt off. Is campy the right word? I don't know. Kind of like it didn't know what it wanted to be.

Recency bias but Andor might be my favorite and not much compares to that season finale. I do remember at the time thinking especially the second half of the second season of the Mandalorian was just great. So if I went back and watched that I might feel that way again.

I got very tired of all the guest appearances cross promoting other shows. It happened way too often on Fett and Obi-Wan.

As to Andor being slow, they had to introduce a lot of characters and plot lines. We know the players next season, most of the exposition is out of the way.

Hey Mando! is still best for me, but Andor was so good.

btw - If you want to go into S2 fresh and clean, don't read the various interviews that Gilroy has given this week, haha. Although things can obviously change, because they're writing and filming it now, he's already talked about the show's timeline. Also, it seems like he's uninterested in doing more (like a season three), so S2 will probably have a more definitive end.

Speaking of, when are we getting our next installment of Star Wars? Finished Andor (and really liked it). Enjoyed Boba Fett enough and Obi Wan. Finished Clone Wars a couple months back and did Bad Batch and Rebels. Watched the Ashoka/Duku shorts.

I’m on a rewatch of Bad Batch for Little Spartan at bed time. But I’m not going to get new episodes of those or Rebels or Clone Wars.

But I feel like a junky itching for a fix.

I'm not sure about the animated stuff, but HEY MANDO season three starts the first week of March.

I think Mando is next. Ahsoka and Acolyte later in 2023.
