    Which battleship is known as the "Showboat" because it served in every major offensive in the Pacific theater but suffered only 10 KIA during WWII?

    I’m curious what the answer is because I have no idea what suffered on 10 KIA means.

    Should say "only" not on. KIA = Killed in action.

    Showboat as in: big show, big time, famous, well know, etc.

    This isn't exactly history, but according to the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, what are the three windiest major metropolitan areas in the United States?

    Oklahoma City - where the wind comes sweepin down the plain
    Duluth - because Dylan said the answer is blowin in the wind
    Detroit - because Bob Seger was always running against the wind.

    I would guess somewhere in West Texas. Lubbock, maybe?

    Just FYI, in one visit to Lubbock, I experienced all four seasons in five days,
