    Just yesterday, I was perusing a Big Red site mostly to catch up on that very good offensive line. I knew he had been paralyzed due to a car accident, but not the details. You're right ... holy shit.

    Correct! Dan Dierdorf used to joke that when he was at Michigan and Jim Otis (his cardinals teammate) was at Ohio State, their coaches warned them to not injure Otis because the guy behind him was better. It was Brockington.

    Yes, I've heard that Dierdorf story, as well. Brockington thrived under Devine but went to hell and a hand-basket with Starr.

    The answer was Kent Hrbek, who surprised me that he only made one all star game in his career, but also not surprised since his peer group was Mattingly, Murray, Carew, McGwire and Fielder for his career. Thought to get in the top three with that crew blocking the away.
