    You got it. He had eight top 10 finishes and finished second in the voting twice in ‘82 and ‘83.

    What is the MLB record for most players in an all star game from one team in a single season? Give me number, team and year.

    Not sure if it's the record, but I recall the Mets having 6 or 7 in the 1986 game.

    The cards have hit nine several times, which is second all time. However, ESPN lists them at 10 for 1943, but a scan of the players shows a St Louis Brown. So back to nine, and not the record.

    Didn't the Reds get fans to vote every single position player into the All-Star Game many years ago, forcing the league to eliminate fan voting until the 1970s? Can't remember what season it was.
