Yes. I want to say it was 58. League stepped in and invalidated several of the selections. Still, even with the ballot stuffing, not the reds.

Will give a hint, the team that set the record were playing the game in its home park.

    I’ll say the ‘39 Yankees with 10.

That is the team. Of course, one of the all Stars was Gehrig, who obviously didn’t play but was listed on the official roster. Six starters: Dickey, Gordon, Rolfe, DiMaggio, Selkirk and ruffing. Gomez and Johnny Murphy were pitchers and Gehrig and Frank Crosetti were back ups.

I have a book on that team somewhere, so that was my guess, although I thought there would have been another random Yankee on there instead of Gehrig.

What NBA player has the most career points as a substitute? Who is second?

The obvious guess is John Havlicek, who never started in his 1,270-game NBA career and scored more than 26,000 points. So it's probably not John Havlicek.

Nope. Was my thought too. I’m not sure if the NBA kept games started as a stat back then though.

nope. As is often applicable to AC, he didn’t score enough.

Not Vinny. No. 1 just happened and no. 2 retired in 2002.

Oh, then I got no clue. I stopped watching the NBA when Ewing left the Knicks.
