    Seeing no more guesses, it was Tiki Barber. He broke an almost 70-old-record held by Cliff Battles, who quit football over a contract dispute in his prime.

    So I looked up Lou Gehrig's grand slams, and while he never hit two in a game, he did hit three in four days in 1931 -- Aug. 29, off Philadelphia's Lefty Grove; Aug. 31, off Washington's Lloyd Brown; and Sept. 1, off Boston's Ed Morris.
