    The ab's are very low. He was either before the 162 game schedule, was injured, took a ton of walks or some combination of the three.

    I don't know if the last line is a hint. McCovey or Musial.

    I’ll go in the wayback machine and guess Brian Doyle with the, I think, 78 Yankees.

    EDIT: I denounce myself. Looked it up after my guess and see that Doyle was never an MVP. He was second in voting in 78. #Fail
