I didn't think the Baltimore Orioles history could be more fucked up.

Sorry I ignored my question yesterday, got busy. No to all of the guesses so far.

I'll go out on a limb and say the '98 Yankees?
Figuring they had a bunch of great players but nobody who was truly elite yet; I think their best power hitter might have been Paul O'Neill, who was not the biggest slugger in the world; maybe Rivera and Wetteland split the closer duties before Rivera fully took over the role; and they only had a few really good starters.
Just a shot in the dark.

That always kills me how in 1901, a fan could see a Milwaukee Brewers vs. Baltimore Orioles game and 69 years in the future, see Brewers become the Orioles after a long stop in St. Louis, see the old Orioles kinda become the New York Yankees and see a new Milwaukee Brewers team that came from Seattle.

It makes Who’s On First sound rational.

The ones that were mentioned already, as well as the Cleveland team that has changed its nickname to the Guardians in reference years.

The '65 Dodgers met all of the criteria of your question ... except they had worse power numbers than those A's and had one more player hit better than .214. Still, incorrect as you stated.

Also, RIP Vic Davalillo, baseball card of my youth.

By committee, you guys almost got it, but not quite.

    - As mentioned, the Baltimore Orioles of today began life as the Milwaukee Brewers of 1901. The AL was founded in Milwaukee, which just makes Gen X-grew-up-with-the-AL Me even more pissed that Baby Boomer-grew-up-with-Milwaukee-in-the-NL generation helped pushed the league switch in the late 90s. I've grown used to it now, but I still have nostalgia for today's Brewers in the AL.
    - The Braves called Milwaukee home from 1953-65 before dickhead Bill Bartholomay sold Milwaukee down the river after he bought the team from Lou Perini.
    - The White Sox played home games at County Stadium in 1968-69, playing one game against each American League opponent. The games in Milwaukee greatly out-drew the games at Comiskey Park and the White Sox were on the cusp of moving to Milwaukee, but one of the Allyn brothers who owned the Sox at the time got cold feet. That set in motion the Pilots' move to Milwaukee instead the following spring. Meaning, the Pilots played as visitors at County Stadium in 1969 (June 16 to be exact) shortly before they occupied it permanently.
    - As mentioned, the Brewers have called Milwaukee home since 1970.
    - The then-Indians had an early-season series moved to Milwaukee due to snow in 2007.
    - Fine margins robbed you guys of the final team. As Tap noted, the Cubs did play at Miller Park in 2008, but not as the home team. The home team was the Astros as Hurricane Ike made landfall in Houston. Carlos Zambrano famously pitched a no-hitter in the two-game series.
