The first official recorded quintuple double was by Tamika Catchings, who had 25 points, 18 boards, 11 assists, 10 steals and 10 blocks for Duncanville (Texas) High School in 1997.

It’s believed that Wilt did it at the NBA level at least once before steals and blocks became official stats.

I'm thinking ABA, WHA and WFL would be in the mix from that timeframe. Plus the North American Soccer League.
Los Angeles lost the WHA Sharks, WFL Suns and NASL Aztecs in that timeframe.

I was a teenager in the mid 70s and saw the Sharks twice at the LA Sports Arena, once vs Winnipeg and Bobby Hull and the other against Houston and Gordie Howe, whose autograph we got before the game.
Never saw the others but tried to convince the family to go a Southern California Suns game at Anaheim Stadium but I was overruled for a Dodgers game.

 

Bart Crashley was the first defenseman/forward selected by the New York Islanders in the 1972 expansion draft (Atlanta and the Isles were required to pick goaltenders first).
Instead, he signed with the Sharks.
Bart Crashley ... that's a hockey name.
