    Yes it is, with an even 100. Certainly the lowest number of any 1969 and earlier franchise.

    Other than Gwynn hits and Hoffman saves, the franchise all-time leaders have pretty low numbers.

    Nate Colbert is the HR leader with 163. Machado is at 143, so he could pass him by the end of the season.

    Never would have guessed Colbert. I still have a Topps card of him in an Expos uni.

    100 is shockingly low especially since pitchers used to pitch so much and the win opportunities were there.

    I looked up Peavy and Chris Young because they are who I associate with Padres pitching. Young was in San Diego way shorter than I thought. If Peavy had finished 2009 with the Padres (and stayed healthy?) He might have set the mark. He was 8 wins away.

    This former AL slugger once led the league in total bases (for the third year in a row) without leading that season in hits, doubles, triples, or home runs.
