    2004-05 Lions. And thank you.
I have a notepad full of this shit for the as-yet-unwritten Fart book

Jack Clark was mentioned in my favourite line from The Town, when they were pulling off their last heist. “Last motherfucker who robbed the Red Sox this bad was Jack Clark.”

I saw this on a baseball page on Facebook. I won’t ask because it will send many down a rabbit hole, but it’s pretty cool so I will share.

Q: On the day I was born, ten different Hall of Famers hit home runs. Five of them would go on to hit 500 home runs; two hit at least 600. Two different Hall of Fame starting pitchers earned victories on the mound, one pitching lefthanded in the city I was born in, the other righthanded for what later became my favorite team. Both would go on to win 300 games.

    What’s my birthday?

    A: June 14, 1969.

The ten HR hitters were Henry Aaron, Willie Mays, Frank Robinson, Reggie Jackson, Harmon Killebrew, Willie McCovey, Carl Yastrzemski, Orlando Cepeda, Roberto Clemente, and Joe Morgan.

The pitchers were Steve Carlton and Tom Seaver.

That's a classic Jeopardy-style question. You get it right and no one can believe that you knew about coin tosses, when all you have to know is where Marriucci coached last.

You've got to give people a fighting chance to answer the microturd of esoterica you've actually made space for in the operating system that is the human brain.
My brother-in-law is a mechanic with no secondary education.
He knows almost all of this stuff.

Two Hall of Fame pitchers opposed each other in the final MLB appearances for each player. Who were they?

    No.

However, in Koufax's final appearance (Game 2, 1966 WS) he started against future HOFer Jim Palmer.
