    Trust!

It was no homecoming for that Fat HO!

The Black students in that room was "one out of place syllable" from bum-rushing that Bitch Made glutton.

Jason got his piggish ass out the ATL with the quickness.

Ya'll can have her - we expelled that greedy consumer long time ago.

Look, you got put in your place by the Rutgers basketball coach and you didn't know how to respond in public. OK, it happens. But then to turn around and attempt to say Wojciechowski isn't a good columnist says something about you, not him. Not your proudest moment here, dude.

Great point. I guess in his "opportunity" to seize the moment, he forgot something called journalistic integrity.

    Kind of ironic isn't it?

Since we're offering opinions (and I usually only offer them when I have something nice to say about someone, given that this is an industry-related board and it kind of sucks to gratuitously put down someone's work by name), I think Wojo is a fine, thoughtful columnist and a very good writer. ESPN has a handful of guys that make up for some of the crap they have to use as filler and Wojo is certainly on that list. I find him to be a much more thoughtful and entertaining columnist than several of the clowns that have passed through ESPN's website in recent years, and I find his stuff in the magazine to be among the best stories they run.

Then again, I could be all wrong and he might be mediocre. It wouldn't be the first time a guy had titles like "senior national sports columnist" for the largest sports website and "senior writer" for a major sports magazine, when he was really just a glorified college writer who was fooling everyone... It wouldn't be the first time a writer was more hype than substance.

But in this case, I personally don't believe that to be true. Wojo does solid work and I always look out for his stuff.

I don't know why you even try to fit in with these people.

They will ALWAYS try to slit your throat.

Look at Jason. He tried desperately to be the MAN at ESPN and they stuck an apple in his mouth and turned him.

  9. there's nothing wrong with being a very good college reporter/feature writer and an average columnist. they're two different disciplines. he's an average columnist.

    What's the problem with that?

Everyone is allowed to opine about Whitlock, and disparage his ability. Yet, Whitlock has an opinion about the abilities of a columnist...and somehow it is venomous to say, "hey the guy is average".

I think most clear minds who read Wojo would say, "eh, nice, but nothing special" after most of his columns.

Oh, and I ain't no Whitlock fan. But, I do believe the brother has the right to shine.

Just keeping it real, you all.

That fat bastard does not get a pass because he's a brotha.

I see him no differently than I see Clarence Thomas and John Allen Muhammad (Washington D.C. sniper)

I didn't say he gets a pass on his performance.

I just said he has the right to shine. If the man can work the system. Work it.

There is plenty to dislike about what he says. Plenty.

But, I got no beef seeing him on Oprah. On Tucker Carlson. Whatever. Shine Bright.

If, in the long run, people lose interest or see his work as lacking. The shine will dull.

Just keeping it real, you all.
