I think the Bulls did a great thing with Norris Cole at 28. Great backup for Rose.

I guess I should give the on-air talent credit for trying to make something out of nothing in this televised Draft but I can't see fit to "credit" Stu Scott for the line "Singler can beat anyone on the Detroit Pistons roster in a game of Horse ... off the backboard, off the diving board ..."
    Yuck!

I have a feeling he's slamming something tonight.

And looking at his clips, he looks great. They just need to run Blatche's fat ass out of town. I think the Wiz would take six Pizza Hut basketballs for him right now.

Now that was funny from Nets employee Avery Johnson, when asked if he missed Bristol, and would like to come back and commentate with ESPN.

    "No ... I can't leave the Russians"

Agreed. Though I'm a bit biased as a proud Viking.

Somebody would take Jon Diebler, and Talor Battle's not going to get picked? They have their heads up their asses.

Update: since I posted my message, Norris Cole has been traded twice. Now he's a Heat.

As an Indy native and IUPUI grad, I should be thrilled George Hill is now a Pacer, though I don't know that trading its whole draft for him wasn't a little much.

love, love, LOVE the knicks pick, if for no other reasons than the idiot fans in the arena -- who know ZILCH -- as about anything unless it's uttered by any of thr IDIOT espn 'experts.'

but the kid plays DEE-FENSE, a totally foreign concept for that coach and several of its stars, and can become a much better shooter than he's shown. his ft shooting is fine, his shooting form is fine, he can handle and dish, play point or off-guard, and already would defend against the likes of ray allen RIGHT NOW better than anyone on the current roster.

take it to the the bank, IMAN'S got game. more than i can say about the 'draft experts' in espn-land. i'm a far better judge of talent than the jerkoffs trying to become the hoops version of mel kiper. and i'm DAMN WELL sure that donnie walsh, already through the exit door, knows WAAAAY more than any of those dorks/dweebs.

please, save this post. by mid-season, everyone will see that i'm right on this.

    END. OF. RANT.

I was thinking the same thing about Demitri McCamey

If the Knicks were worried about DEE-FENSE, they would have taken Singleton.

Am I the only one who was stunned that Isaiah Thomas was available at the end of the second round?

wrong. not enough minutes available behind 'amare and 'melo for guys like singleton or the fierce rebounder compared to rodman (as a 'bounder). many more potential minutes available in their backcourt, 'though i love singleton as a player, too.
