I could see cutting Murton for one of those guys. Somehow, the Cubs keep finding ways to keep him out of regular playing time. Floyd will steal at-bats away this year. If you really like Hudson, Murton's the next guy I'd cut on your team.

And Hensley would be the guy you'd keep?

I've got Mike Pelfrey on my NL-only keeper list, too. The way he's pitching, it would be tough to see him not in the Mets rotation to start the season.

I'm in an NL-only, too. Much harder to draft than having the entire MLB to choose from; from which to choose. I read news on my site about Loney, and how Little might start him at AAA to give him as many ABs as possible instead of having him sit the bench to start the year. Draft him and put him on the farm.

Unfortunately, I can't draft a minor-league guy. Pelfrey goes into the pool if he's healthy on opening day and in AAA. Last-place teams gets first crack at him the first week he comes up. Them's the breaks. I have to turn in my rosters today. Surely one of you Mets fanboy loosers knows something about Pelfrey. Could he really be in the rotation to start the season?

I'm leaning toward keeping Hensley over Murton because the Cubs always find ways to keep him from being an every day player. You know how Hendry feels about solid, patient, disciplined offensive players.

You did say you lose a player if he is sent to the minors, correct? That makes Pelfrey and Loney risky. No way Loney should be in the minors, but will the Dodgers keep him as a bench player or send him down to get at-bats?

Appears Pelfrey will be the guy. So do you go with a sure end-of-the-rotation guy in Hensley, a solid ERA a WHIP guy, or do you take the chance on Pelfrey? Fuck. I've already thought about this way too much.

And Grady Little is apprently seriously condidering putting Loney in AAA to start the season. He's already been the PCL batting champ. Why did they resign Nomar?

I like Pelfrey, but I'm biased because he's on my team, and because I covered him in high school and at Wichita State.
