Because it's not better than 60 percent of I-A. I fucking deal with the No. 2 I-AA team in the country. Those teams are NOT as good as you guys are trying to make them out to be so that you feel better after your team lost.

no, that's not the point. the point is how badly michigan sucked on saturday.

    I-AA is I-AA, period.

Playing I-AA teams is simply the logical extension of the pussy cupcake scheduling pioneered by such world-champion pansy-asses as Snyder at Kansas State, Alvarez at Wisconsin, Glen Mason at Minnesota, resulting in inflated records, bogus bowl bids for fraud teams which has now completely swept the world of college football. Everybody talks tough, then watches teams which in reality are probably 5-6 teams, play four cupcakes a year, ring up records of 7-4, head off to the Ex-Lax Bowl, and then everybody goes and lines up four cupcakes themselves.

As a result, any aspiring top-25 programs which schedule bottom-feeder cupcakes, or ESPECIALLY I-AA teams, need to be catastrophically penalized when they lose the game. In effect, it should count two losses.

If you're going to play Hostess High School in your nonconference schedule, OK, but you damn well better blow their doors off. If you lose to them, you will, and you certainly should, be held up as a national laughingstock.

If Michigan beats Oregon this week, they'll be back in the top 25. If they don't, well....

In fairness, Starman, Wisconsin's scheduling bit them in the ass once or twice, including the year they lost to Cincy (then in C-USA) at home.

they played in eugene a few years ago and lost.....the whiners complained about the unusual crown in oregons field.........
when you schedule notre dame and oregon you are allowed 2 cupcakes...(eastern mich and app st)..the problem is you have to be hungry to eat the cupcakes and not bloated on arrogance

Victories against I-AA teams should NOT count toward bowl-game eligibility.
