IJAG ... did you watch the Bachelor revisited the other night?

Your love-hate affair with Brad from last season would have intensified on the hate side ... he refused to participate in the where-are-they-now show.

    I thought of you. :D

My wife and I watched that Bachelor the other night (we've been hooked for about half of its run; can't believe they've had 11 seasons) and were amazed by Brad -- again. That guy is truly a lone wolf. So few of those people can turn down another TV appearance, even if it makes them look pathetic (and a lot of those did look pathetic on Monday).

I couldn't fast-forward through Ryan and Trista fast enough. It's the Bachelor's one success story and they have to shove it down our throats at every turn.

I actually know Aaron. He grew up where I went to college and I was working at an ABC station during his run on the show, so we got to know him well. He came in for interviews every Wednesday after the show aired.

He's a douche. Or maybe he's a douce, but either way, he's not that great of a guy, or wasn't then anyway. His restaurant was fantastic, though, so a bunch of us went there a lot. He hit on anything with tits and a vagina. Again, all this was back then. I have no idea how he is now.. five years later.

The ONE success story, playthrough? But what of Byron and Mary, the most romantic moment in Bachelor history and the couple they trotted out at last year's reunion show?

    Oh yeah.

Anyway, I missed the first few minutes, so I just saw the part with DeAnna. I'd really like them to pick a NEW woman to be the Bachelorette instead of a retread. I think Bob Guiney was the only Bachelor to have come from the Bachelorette, but I think all four Bachelorettes have come after being on the Bachelor. And I think that's unfair.

I'm with you, I don't like retreads on other side. I liked DeAnna last year but I don't think she can really carry a whole season herself.

Of course, I'm a guy, I watch when there's 25 women for one guy, not vice versa.

I really have never watched the Bachelorette either. I'm a Bachelor girl, mostly because women are crazier, more likely to flip out, and much cattier. All in all, better television.

I watched the Trista season like it was meth pounding through my veins. I don't know why. I even wanted her to pick Ryan.

Now, they annoy me to the point where I get violent tendencies when I see them on TV.

    Bump ditty bump bump ...

Penn was great last night. He's a character.

Monica Seles looks weird in a dress that doesn't also have a pair of shorts underneath.

For the record, there are very very very few things I would not let Jason Taylor do to me.

Oh my God ... he's fabulous. He's way more graceful than I expected! He's going to be a major force in this.
