Official running chick reality TV show thread

I've been watching it. I just happened to come across it one night and have been hooked. I LOVE the down to earth couple. I liked the couple that had been together 14 years until recent actions of the female. But I LOVE the Holmes. They crack me up.

I also don't like Ken and Barbie, and neither does Doc, but we hate them for completely different reasons.

 

What did the female do? I stopped watching after the Indian couple was kicked off. I saw the first two weeks, but nothing after that.

 

The girls in question were Rebecca (the lawyer who shook tush) and Lesley (youth minister who we hardly saw at all after stepping out of the limo). We saw neither interact with Matt in the show.
The story, apparently (according to friends of each who've posted), is that each asked him about his appearance in a short film a friend of his made while they were in college (and was posted on YouTube before being pulled). The powers that be supposedly kept both away from him the rest of the evening, and told him he could not give them roses (although he apparently wanted to). It's common knowledge that the producers choose girls to proceed if he's not feeling strongly about 15 (or 12, etc.), but it's believed to be the first time the bachelor has been told he COULDN'T pick someone.
The popular guess on the boards is that Fleiss does not want to cast women who read the boards because they might actually be prepared for the production and emotional manipulation, and that he was incensed about Brad choosing Brad at the end of the last series.

 

I guess they had all decided they were going to vote the old couple off (the woodwards?) and the next morning, she woke up and went around trying to get everyone to vote for Ken and Barbie instead. She said she was just looking out for herself, which is understandable, but everyone felt they had been played. The next week, she got really drunk and seemed to offend everyone on the show. She just came off as very... I don't know, catty. Especially after Ken and Barbie decided to take the money instead of immunity. They basically decided they were safe from being eliminated and that Ken and Barbie deserved to go home because they took the money. That's the impression I got from the editing, which we all know could have been intentional on producers parts.

 

I would have voted off anyone that took the money, the same way they did the Jacobis.

 

See, I was mad they took the money because Barbie didn't want to. He just took it knowing she didn't want to. Doc hates them because he thinks she's whiny. I hate them because I think he's selfish.

 

I hate them because I think neither one of them is actually human. No one could be that annoying, that whipped or that stupid.

 

Anyone else watch ANTM tonight? I was shocked. Shocked I tell you.

 

See, that's what I don't like. Every one of them went on the show to make money. Why begrudge someone else for playiong the game, and playing it well?

That said, the black couple should have voted Ken and Barbie off. It's down to three now, and the plastic dolls are drum toght with the Holmes.
