Admittedly I only watch The Bachelor's first episode and last 10 minutes, but count me as shocked Lorenzo Lamas's daughter "won" the Bachelor. She struck me as a mall chick in episode 1 and nothing changed watching the last 10 minutes.
Hey, great for them, really. But never in a million years would I have figured that guy would pick that chick. The runner-up seemed a little underwhelming as well.
Is the show running out of needy, desperate women who at least appear to be a tiny bit sophisticated?

She grew on me a lot. Throughout the season, she showed a lot of sophistication and maturity. I was actually incredibly happy she won.

But the bachelorette starts next week, so I don't know when they're going to have their talk with the two to tell me if they're still together!

The Bachelor: London Calling was more fixed than WWE Raw. TPTB were willing to ratfink the game in any way possible to avoid another Brad Womack "I choose me" ending.
The only difference between Shayne Lamas and Pia Zadora is that Lorenzo's baby girl didn't hold out for the megamegamegabucks of a Middle Eastern arms dealer who could fix a Golden Globe for her.
As for The Bachelorette: Sorry, Deanna Pappas doesn't float my boat. Pushy, not fun. Betcha when she gets down to the last two, she'll get a taste of the same vinegar Womack had to drink.

I was SOOO happy. For so many weeks, I thought she was gone, and she ended up winning. It was fantastic. I am pretty sure I cried.

OK, I am digging this up from the dead (whatever happened to that spup chick?)...

ANTM starts tomorrow night, according to something I read, and I came across this interesting bit of information from one of my favorite blogs...

Yep, one of Dale Jr.'s myriad exes is one of the aspiring models.

Tomorrow? I didn't think it started until next week?

According to that link, it says Feb. 25. I haven't looked anywhere else.

Never mind, apparently it is next week. Boo.

(gives me time to remember to set my Tivo)

And she's the plus-sized model. Meaning she's still smaller than the average woman.

That must be her on the commercial I just saw ...

"We're told to treat our bodies like temples. Well, my temple likes to have cheesecake."

    Or something to that effect.

I can't wait for the next season to start. And that girl is NOT plus-sized. Come on, Tyra, find at least one true plus-sized model for this show.

OK, Jason is now more of a douche than hottie Brad from last time.

You know, I was confused by your post when I saw the finale. Now I'm watching After the Rose and laughing my ass off.

What an effing douche. He so needs to get punched.
