Izzo has ALWAYS been like that
I covered Izzo when he was the head coach at Ishpeming High and an assistant at Northern Michigan
He can yell at a player one minute and hug them the next
That's why I always laugh about those Izzo to the NBA rumors
Izzo would last five minutes in the NBA
He couldn't go crazy like that for 82 games a year

No employee should be subject to that much abuse, in public in front of the nation. Next time you make a grammatical mistake I hope your boss takes out a front page ad to tell you what a stupid piece of shit you are. That you fucking can’t do your job and what’s worse is that you don’t care about it you dumbfuckhead.
Which is it, is he the benevolent teacher and coach of a small group of very young and inexperienced that he is guiding onto a National spotlight. Instead of 200 people watching their best high school game, 20million are watching their last college game.
Or is Izzo the multimillionaire coach of a semi-pro team who exploits free labor at a University more known for raping children than for a single academic success.

I'd like to know what exactly Izzo said to the kid.
If it was "You're one of the best players on this squad on a National fucking stage and you're making fucking mistakes like that? It's time to pull your head out of your ass and let's fucking go!!!!!!" Vs "You stupid fuck. How many fucking times does it fucking take? I hope we lose this fucking game because I can't wait to get your stupid fucking ass back to Ypsilanti and never fucking come back. Stupid fucking fucking fuck."

    Point is this.

You can still go off on someone like that and have the message be positive.

I'm petrified of this Virginia Tech-Liberty game today, because the Flames are all sorts of capable of winning. I'm not sure us Tech fans could handle the humiliation of being denied a sweet 16 trip by fucking Falwell U.

And on the heels of the football team’s debacle at ODU.

I already have this. My twitter handle whenever a grammatical error or fact error pops up on a newscast or the Trumpers get all wound up to o play the victim.

Falwell is one thing. I get that sentiment.

I’ve known about 13 or 14 Liberty grads in the business. They’ve all been really wonderful people. Some drink, some don’t. Some get down before marriage. Some don’t. But I saw pretty much all of them volunteer or mentor in the markets they worked in while everyone else in the newsroom was hungover.

I can say every one of them made the newsroom a better place to work in.

I also remember not to paint all Penn State grads and students one way because of 2011.

Morant looks like a fantastic O player but I don’t think I’ve seen a high profile college player give less effort on D. He looked like he was faking being a player. That’s concerning to me.

The Liberty-like school out here in SoCal is BIOLA (original name: Bible Institute of LA). I've worked with a few grads as have people I know, and we'd all jump at the chance to do so again...the school produces great employees and co-workers.
