You guys are going to enjoy Vegas. Just got back from my first trip there, but I can already imagine how crazy the Caesar's sportsbook would be for that title game -- especially since it's always on MLB's opening day.

Just get used to smoke blowing across your face, if you're from a state that pretty much bans smoking in public places. My lungs are still airing out as I speak, from the cigars that blew our way all day Saturday there.

My pals just got back from a weekender in Vegas, highlight was they chipped in and got our divorced, hasn't been laid in a long time friend a hooker.
Do I have the best friends or what?

    That's just sad.

"Here, looser friend, we figured the only way you'd get some is if it cost $200. Enjoy the next five minutes."

Did your friends go through one of those Strippers Direct to You guys -- at your door in 20 minutes! -- on The Strip? The way those guys hand out cards, slapping them against their arms twice before trying to hand one to you, had me rolling every time.

I can neither confirm nor deny the proximity of a Dairy Queen to the Strip.

Uma and I have just completed our reservations.

We will be staying at the Palms. We got a sweet rate on a standard room -- we don't need a fancy suite on the 55th floor -- for only $42 per night via Expedia.com.

It's a bit off the strip, but the place is very nice and the rate couldn't be beat, IMO.

We will arrive Sunday, April 1 and check out Tuesday, April 3. I'm anticipating an informal dinner (restaraunt TBD, I'll call ahead and ask to have seats for however many RSVP for the dinner date) at the Palms Monday night before the NCAA title game as the main event. Also an informal dinner on Sunday night and a lunch on Monday and possibly a breakfast farewell Tuesday if anyone besides me is able to wake up before 9 a.m.

Bungee jumping set for Saturday afternoon. Still taking applications for the milk challenge: one gallon in one hour, no puking, no peeing. I'm covering all bets that it won't happen, $25 minimum, $100 maximum. Now all we need is a victi ... er, challenge taker.
