I'll be last minute for Vegas... I mean, I'll know the day before if I'm coming. Sorry I can't be firmer than that. Viagra does nothing for my planning skills.

Ides, where are you seeing $42/night? Expedia is pulling up $53 as the cheapest, but that's only for Sun-Tues.

Is that why the dates were changed?

Having that Saturday night stay really jacks the price up, which I guess is to be expected. But since the Final Four games are Saturday, I thought that's why we wanted to be there? Who's in for the Super 8?

I slid the date because my workload required me to be in the office Saturday night. I apologize if that kind of screwed things up for people, but I tried to update the switch as soon as I could. The NCAA championship game (Monday night) was always the central event, though. With the Saturday games an obvious thing to do/watch also.

I just recheck and it looks like The Palms has had it's rate bumped since I reserved my room. That'll happen as the hotel gets booked up. Still, $53 ain't too bad if you're sharing with 2-3 people. It's only a couple of dollars more than the Imperial Palace, and I know noone wants to stay there.

I did call about getting a group rate, but they wanted at least 50 rooms secured.

Again, sorry if I've messed it up for people because my work schedule made things difficult.

C'mon, Jones, can't you put forward a better excuse than THAT? The pills don't deserve the blame.

Better book now. Rates are now $99 for Sunday, $109 for Monday. Yikes!

Yep, looks like the Palms might be sold out for Monday night. Expedia now says "cannot confirm availability for that date."

I got the rate off the Palms site. I checked Expedia to see if they had a lower rate, but got the same thing you did.

Twelve hours ago, I booked a Palms room off Expedia at a $53/night avg. rate. ($106 for Sunday, free for Monday). Now, they're not offering it.
