Some options for him if he doesn't want to dazzle as much:

    Traditional
    [IMG]

    Happening

    Hybrid

You oughta be a wedding planner if a man is planning the wedding. If the bride is, she'd kill you!

    You don't like those shoes?
You have to add some life to a wedding, have to - it is a party, a celebration. Not a funeral.

I've worn all white wing tips to a summer wedding with a linen suit and bright tie. I've worn brown and white wing tips with the same suit. Dazzling I tell you.

Oh... there is pizazz in our wedding. I mean, look at my shoes, but not on Doc's feet.

Guys have to have bland feet?

Think brown where the black is on these:

These in white (which seems to be sold out)

I actually don't HATE your shoe choices Moddy. I really like crocks. I actually found a few pairs that I want once I start getting paychecks from my job.

Love my crocs. Wouldn't wear them to a wedding.
Well, unless it was a wedding on a beach or some other sort of hippie wedding.

    True confession time:

I do have to admit, I am fairly envious of Doc, Spup and Mr. + Mrs. Moddy. They have all found the person that they want to spend the rest of their lives with, from having hair on their heads to having hair sprout from their toes. I'm still looking for the girl who will have the patience to be Mrs. Beat.

It won't be easy for her. I admit that. The girl who will be Mrs. Beat will have to tolerate bad jokes, a family that that redefines the word "dysfunctional," a lanky 6'2 frame, a love for Sarah Chalke that borders on the pathological and hockey. Always hockey.

The last girl I saw had potential. She was funny, smart, almost tolerant of my family. By any stretch of the imagination, she would have been a keeper.

Unfortunately, she asked me what I would give potential wedding guests as thank you gifts. I suggested autographed framed photos of Joey Kocur ([IMG]), McFarlane figure of Clint Malarchuk ([IMG]), a replica of the 1994 Rangers Stanley Cup ([IMG]) and an Adam Graves sweater ([IMG]).

She was shocked; appalled, really. We talked for awhile and realized it wasn't meant to be. She really couldn't get past the hockey.

    If you'll excuse me...

Yeah, the Malarchuk figure might have been a step too far.
