Anybody venture to guess the TV rating share the Buckeye game got in Ohio?

    I'm thinking 70 plus.

Were you selling the old-style "buckeye leaves" outside the stadium?

No I was watching it from home. I wish I was outside or inside the Horseshoe.

You can still go down to High Street and beat up people wearing blue.

Nah I respect Michigan fans. Clearly they just have a mental disorder to cheer for UM so I feel for them.

I never said they were. But some of you people were dismissing them the night they won because the game against WVa had no D. If I'm adding right, the defenses of OSU and Michigan gave up more points in their game.

You don't mind if they actually go through the formality of playing the national championship game, do you?

No wonder Ohio State fans are referred to as "the Gator fans of the Midwest."
Equal levels of arrogance and obnoxiousness run rampant.

Hard to argue about the Heisman Trophy after what Troy Smith did today. I didn't think he'd earned the front-runner status before this, but now it absolutely should be his.

And it is dead wrong for Notre Dame to go to the championship game over Michigan no matter what happens the rest of the way. Both have one loss. Michigan's came by three on the road against the top team in the country. Notre Dame's came in an ass-whipping by Michigan.

This could definitely go the other way on a neutral field in a rematch. Take just two plays. Ohio State backup tailback gets hit in the backfield, but the defender blows the tackle and it turns into the touchdown that gave the Buckeyes the lead they never lost. Later Michigan pressures Smith into an incomplete pass on third down, but takes a roughing the passer penalty (good call) to set up another score.

Not saying Ohio State wasn't the better team, but it was definitely close enough that a rematch on a neutral field would hold some interest.
