Didn't forget, Chuck. Eveerybody except for OSU and the SmurfTurfers has lost to somebody...

    And, I repeat, rematches=mismatches.

Oh, yeah..and fuck the Big Ten (or Big 2 and nine wimps)

Wisconsin is pretty good as well. And in case you haven't noticed, the Pac 10 isn't that great either. Spnited, it's as simple as this.
    USC's loss(for now): Oregon State
Michigan's loss: Ohio State(#1 team in the country)

At this point, it's not a matter of trying. It's a matter of praying for a rematch. :)

Well, gee, I'd guess Michigan. Since it is the national championship game.

When the Cowboys and 49ers were battling it out in the NFC Championship Game throughout the 90s, the two best teams in the NFL never met in the Super Bowl.

Because the two best teams were the Cowboys and 49ers.

    Same principle with OSU-Michigan.

The two best teams happened to meet in the semifinals. It happens.

    No rematch.

And should USC or Florida or somebody beat Ohio State . . . well, I guess OSU and Michigan weren't the two best teams after all.

C'mon, BTE, somebody better than OSU or Michigan?
    Unpossible.

Ok, we're giving USC waaaaaaaay too much credit over here.

We'll just have to see how much credit USC deserves after Jan. 8

Frankly, I wouldn't argue for USC in the title game. They have a loss and quite a few close calls. I don't think they deserve the berth. I think the Florida-Arkansas winner should be the team. Both have been better teams than USC, all in all, which I think negates the USC blowout of Arkansas.

They also play in the Pac 10.
