Two. Wisconsin is ranked No. 12. But that doesn't take into account how a bowl-eligible team like Iowa would lose to both Illinois and Northwestern, each of whom have only one Big 10 victory.

In losses to Ohio State, Michigan and Wisconsin, Penn State was outscored 58-19. The offense scored one touchdown in those games and averaged roughly 216 yards. Competitive, yes, but then so was Ball State.

I wouldn't go to Vegas anytime soon.

Wisconsin's OOC: @ Bowling Green, San Diego State, Buffalo.

I don't see any jet lag in there.

Is the Michigan-Ohio State game this week? I thought Alabama-Auburn was the big game.

You mean like Duke, La-Monroe, Hawaii and Florida International?
Or Buffalo, Arkansas St., Tulane and Washington St.?
Or La-Lafayette, Arizona, Tulane and Fresno St.?
Or Southern Miss, Central Florida, West Carolina and a weak Florida State?

And for those of you who remember this man, RIP... he was a good one -- and a good dentist...

ANN ARBOR -- Tom Slade, a University of Michigan quarterback in the early 1970s, died Sunday night, former Wolverine coach Bo Schembechler said Monday.
The cause of death was cancer, Schembechler said.
Slade was an Ann Arbor dentist. He grew up in Saginaw and played for Michigan in 1971, '72 and '73, wearing number 17 and running Schembechler's grinding ground offense.
"He was a flawless guy personally," Schembechler said at a morning press conference devoted to the Michigan-Ohio State game Saturday. "He was a good, honest, character man. A good leader. He was my dentist."
Schembechler began his remarks to reporters with the news of Slade's death.
"There are some things that are more important than this Saturday's game," Schembechler said.
Imformation on funeral arrangements was not available.

But those are just silly SEC schools. Not manly Big Ten schools, where they crush locomotives with their fist like Popeye on a spinach high.

Much-vaulted? Is there a gymnastics doubleheader?

Yeah, they looked mighty impressive in that 13-3 win against a PSU team that has barely a passing game.
