Would you want your kid to play for him?

And just now on ESPN, Jesse Palmer defended Gundy and the player as well. God, this makes me sick.

On Saturday night Gundy said three-fourths of the story was inaccurate. Carlson asked Gundy during the press conference what was incorrect in the story and Gundy responded "I don't have to.”

She then told him she can't report errors to the paper unless she knows what they are.

"I don't have to,” Gundy said again. "I'd rather just let it go.”

I was more disappointed in it than anything. Justifying his relationship with Gundy and not directly defending Carlson in a journalism standpoint was weak, IMO. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was lead to believe that you put aside your personal relationships and biases when someone assails your profession and the people you work with when they gather the facts and write the story. Am I wrong in that assertion?

I finally saw the outburst today for the first time. Personally, I would have fired that motherfucker, or suspend him, on the spot. It was embarassing not only to the football program, but to the school and the state of Oklahoma overall. He made Carlson look like a whistleblower.

With his outburst, it gave Jenni's column more credence that Gundy doesn't know how to handle situations that can affect the outcome of the season for his team, given that outburst. That is, IMO, the premise of the column. It wasn't about Bobby Reid, per se, it's on how Gundy didn't do a good job of handling his QB situation. Inserting Zac Robinson over Reid no doubt gave Reid the inclination that the coaches have no faith in him, therefore, he has a fragile psyche about it. To add, Reid didn't do himself any favors with the comments he added. Nevertheless, Gundy did look smart in having Robinson in the game against Tech. If it was Reid, who in the hell knows if he could keep up with the shootout vs. Graham Harrell.

Call the column weak if you will, but Gundy just made the column have a stronger backbone than it had Saturday morning. How can you infer that she was playing backseat shrink when everyone saw how he couldn't check himself in a small situation like that? He took the all of the press away from his team fending off Tech. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. He took the attention off his team by acting like a deranged cocksucker.

Let Okie State lose the next 5 conference games. We'll be asking for his head.

Jesse Palmer is an idiot. He's horrible on TV, just like he was at QB in the NFL. He doesn't even know what he's talking about. He's sticking up for the coaching acting like a little baby, give me a break. No matter how bad the column was, Gundy's supposed to act in a professional manner for his program.

Finally saw it...without sound. Man, if I had to wear a shirt that loud as part of my job, I'd be a little pissed at the world, too. And I like how the sports section fell apart on him.

I, too, thought the column was dogshit.

But Gundy made an utter fool of himself.

Act like ya been there before, Coach.
