Thanks cadet. Like I said, I shouldn't have included that in my initial post. That was a mistake, and I'm big enough to apologize for it. I promise I was in no way implying that women shouldn't cover football. In actuality, my main point was that sportswriters, all sportswriters, should stay away from the playing-with-pain topic in a opinion piece. Because honestly, when its all said and done, we don't have any authority to do so --- unless we have quotes.

No thanks. I'd rather make a long, drawn-out scene at a John Kerry rally than have to deal with these people in the real world.
That kid had it easy compared to the last 30 minutes of my life.
