Ok, so she was a pro call girl and an amateur track star.

I imagine, in her post-Olympic phase, she probably needed something to be competitive or obsessed about.

Let's say that she is still giving lots of motivational speeches. The moment she gets off the stage, she is probably aroused and ready to go. I bet she would pick up her check, shake a few hands and then go off to her, um, appointment.

It then became a lifestyle for her and she was in too deep. She craved the attention from rich and powerful men as her spotlight from running faded further into the rearview mirror. Then she probably met the one man who refuses to give her up as she was trying to leave the lifestyle behind.

Getting "in" is easy. Getting "out" is extremely difficult for women. It rarely ends well.

She'll be a punchline, among other things, for some time, to many. Hearing her talk about her depression and her wish to have a happy life makes me hope she finds some peace and a healthy way to reclaim her life, and that her family finds support and peace as well.

OK, NOLU, take that pic down. I will not have this funny business at all related to the logo on the right!

    (Who is that guy, anyway?)

I wonder if that picture means she raised $2,400 for that good cause.
