    The Russians have possession in their own end controlling the puck and cannot score.

    You think if The Americans score a breakaway that quick is going to point out the net to the refs and disallow the goal?

    Lacrosse fans, in general, are more snobby about their station in life than their choice of sport.


    I think I might watch the NHL more if they played on an international-sized rink.

    You'd see far more trapping on International ice. The European game is a complete bore. We are watching best on best which would look good on any ice surface.

    Exactly. People get wrapped up ion the idea that bigger ice is better, Couldn't be further from the truth. Small ice means everything happens that much quicker and that much more force. Don't recall anyone complaining about the hockey in Vancouver because of the small ice.

    Larger ice only has one advantage: it gives timid players places to hide.

    Was the ice at the '10 games NHL sized? I'm thinking they played on international sized ice.
