    After a flurry of USA shots early, things have evened out.

    Got to say this women's game is extremely entertaining hockey. Love the way the U.S. team plays -- tough, gritty, hustling. And for a game that supposedly has no checking, there's an awful lot of contact (and that's a good thing).

    Sort of wish they could play best-of-3. But this format certainly increases the drama.

    My favorite play so far was when the U.S. forechecker took out the Canadian goalie behind the net. Hey, if you come out of your crease, you're just another player, eh?

    The thing that strikes me about the US and Canadian women is the speed. Watching the other nations looks like watching junior players by comparison.
