Which "sex in the village" story was better?
    I read ESPN's but not Men's Journal's.
Did they use the same sources?

Really, the "everyone in the Village is horny" story is a quadrennial institution.

Alan Abrahamson ripped the USWNT a new one over the weekend for Hope Solo saying on the record that she snuck a celebrity into the village with some, IMHO, remarkably melodramatic talk of Munich.

    Alan Abrahamson is a buzzkill.

I've never covered high-level gymnastics, so I learned something new about it today. They use honey to improve their grip on the bars.

My dad and sister are going to London in a few days. My sister asked me if I thought there would be much in the way of security. I mean, how do you respond to that beyond the obvious sarcasm and ridicule?

I've found laughter gets the point across.

And we're underway -- and the U.S. women's soccer team already down 2-zip to France. Beating Hope Solo like a rented goalie.

Solo needs to spend a little more time thinking about stopping weak ass shots than partying in the village.

The video on the NBC app is more than two minutes behind the feed on my TV. Not that big of a deal, I guess, but I'm shocked the lag is that large.

If we don't win this match, Hope Solo should be required to come water my lawn in the exact same manner as she did in the ESPN mag photo shoot. ;D

I notice the stewards are all ringing the field turned toward the crowd. I'd like to think the fans at an Olympic women's match is a little better behaved than your typical Old Firm clash.
