Yeah, it would appear that if I do decide I want to watch games in Coventry, there'll be no trouble getting a ticket. Although the men's games on Sunday are actually sold out.

But I really don't think I can put up with that much shrieking.

Glorious deflection goal for the Korean people. I imagine they play "Excellent Horse-Like Lady" in situations like this, kind of like Chelsea Dagger.

Just something I noticed. It's fine. Hell, I'm glad NBC is actually showing everything live, though they still suck for showing the opening ceremony and the track/swimming/gymnastics on tape delay on TV. At least it's available online live (though not the ceremony). But NBC has always done stupid crap when it comes delaying the Olympics no matter where they're at, citing the pathetic "We get better ratings when shown in prime time." No kidding because that's when you show them. Under that logic, Sunday Night Football should be on a three-hour delay each week on the West Coast for "better ratings."

Did you miss the "Not that big of a deal, ..." part of my post?

It didn't bother me - nor did it bother me when the NBCSN feed of one match was two minutes behind the feed on MSNBC (or was it CNBC?) of the same match during the North Korean delay - I just thought it was odd. No biggie.

I do love being able to watch all the events on the iPad. Team handball doesn't get nearly enough coverage. It could be the curling of the Summer Games.

Sorry, didn't want to sound I was picking on you. I have heard plenty of vitriol directed at various media companies for slight delays. I do think Americans are spoiled when it comes to live coverage as Friday Night Football (either Aussie Rules or rugby league) is delayed in Australia in some states, and most of the EPL matches aren't available live in the U.K.

It would be nice if NBC opened up the Olympics feeds without the need to have cable/satellite, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

We're good, Stitch. Just chit-chatting. I took no offense.

Triple jumper kicked off Greek Olympic team for racist tweet.

Twitter gets more people in more messes than just about else.

But that one is nonsense. There are far, far bigger issues in the world than what somewhat tweets, or talks about on the street corner. If someone wants to post something, let it go. It's their own personal account, not like an official statement from the National Olympic Committee.

To kick someone off a team for that is the ultimate in censorship.

London 2012 website has bios on all competing athletes along with their credential mug shots.

Michael Phelps looks like he's coming off of a three-day drunk: http://www.london2012.com/athlete/phelps-michael-1131796/

Saw that. I think it was a bit of an over-reaction on the players' part to what I suspect was an honest --- albeit stupid --- mistake.

I suspect the players were ordered not to take the field.
