And, in a bit of defense that would cause a U-10 coach to shit his pants, Canada allowed a goal directly from Rapinoe's corner kick -- low on the front post.

As has been mentioned before, can't do that on a live-ball play.

There is no doubt the Americnas were the better team on the day.

Watched the match today...and Tancredi was unbelievably dirty. She was given a long leash even after getting booked for her outburst in the official's face. Kinda hot, but utterly classless.

Not sure I'd go quite that far, JC. Up until the controversy, I thought Canada had gotten slightly the better of play for most of the game. After they tied it up, though, U.S. dominated.

No doubt, the referee lost control of that game about halfway through the second half. It was real chippy on both sides, and she seemed incapable of reining things in.

Yes, the Norwegian ref lost control of the game. Reminds me of this game when a Norwegian ref blew it.

It only took 25 years for Norway to stick it to the Canadians.

    Conspiracy? I don't think so. :)

If you run across any Olympic athletes at your local Starbucks let Cameroon know. They're missing seven of theirs.

You know, I really thought that Romanian would challenge Aly Raisman ... until she fell on her head.

Crazy how gymnastics works. You can be cruising along, then all the sudden your neck is in a precarious position.

Who know Olympic athletes get visas to stay in England that are good through November?
