Canadians got third but have since been DQ'd for reasons not yet explained. My Twitter feed has been awash in Norwegian referee jokes.

US equals the world record in the 4x100 and gets silver.

Canada celebrates earning bronze then gets told during its victory lap that they've been DQ'd. Trinidad (and Tobago) gets third.

Must of been out of one of the exchange zones on a handoff.

When is the last time the US men have successfully made it around the track in the finals with the baton?
That may be the story of the games right there

Athens. They botched a handoff but finished second.

I think the Canadians got DQ's for one of their runners stepping on the line, actually.

Wow, Trinidad and Tobago's anthem is very.... Cold War-esque at the start and European at the end. I somehow thought it would be more fun.

When the relay loses gold or doesn't medal, you may speak up.

When they break one of the oldest track and field records by a ridiculous margin, it kinda proves the point they picked the right four.

Luke Campbell of Britain wins gold in a pretty action-filled fight. Love hearing "God save the Queen" when Britain wins something. Gotta be in the top five of anthems.

Holy cow, an American just beat the Chinese dude in the final of the 10m platform.

US women up 50-32 on France midway through the third quarter. They should see this out and win gold, but they are making heavy weather of it at times.

US just hit 100 medals, 42 gold climbing. Get some of that China!
