Ok, best tweet so far on the NBC debacle:

#NBCfail We shall tape-delay on the landing-grounds, we shall tape-delay in the fields and in the streets, we shall tape-delay in the hills!

It's not about the partying. It's about the "Greatness Has Been Found" T-Shirts like they won some weekend travel tournament. How about tacky?

At least the Canadian hockey women didn't wear "Can't anyone here play this game?" shirts?

The bong & Molson logo may be photoshopped but the champagne bottles are legit. I remember that picture and the flap it caused.

NBC has been an unmitigated disaster since getting the Games in 1988. Haven't watched one second of prime time.

Ah, I see the bag Shooped in now...didn't see that the first time. I was wondering where the hell I was, cause I remember that game on TV and didn't remember a bong.

I actually agree with JR. It's not that hard to act like you've been there before. Even if you haven't.

Plus, the last thing America needs is to be compared to Canada. :)

I remember the controversy too. I think there was a question if some of the players were of legal drinking age in BC as well. Was hoping to find the photo I ran back in 2010, which clearly showed one player holding a Coors Light instead of a fine Canadian swill.

That said, another question: Does it appear there's someone at each venue designated to hand a flag to the winner(s) in each event, much like manufacturer reps hand out gimme caps in victory lane at a NASCAR race?

I think the Canadian women's hockey legit pics were taken well after things were shut down. They went back on the ice to celebrate after all the fans have left the building.

As for our girls wearing t-shirts and posing ... don't like it, beat us. Sorry.

That women's basketball pic is beyond stupid, and you could not look more ridiculous than the one in the middle, far right. Sue Bird maybe.

The only thing a championship-winning team should never do is directly taunt or humiliate the opponents.

Haven't seen any pictures of the US soccer team 'popping' the 'greatness' shirts in the faces of the Japanese, or the basketball team waving medals in the faces of the French.

Unless and until any of those pictures come out, I don't care and nobody else should either.

If you win, you get to do whatever you want.
