On the Democratic side for '08

Clinton & Obama have the star power. It's going to take a lot to wrest the nomination from one of those two.

Clark -- no way. Edwards built up quite a base last year, but the old, tired class warfare "Return to the Great Society" campaign hasn't worked in 40 years. Kerry left a bad taste in everyone's mouth last time. Sharpton is nuts. Most of the other guys aren't just well-known enough to get it. Being unknown and an outsider worked for Clinton in '92, but that was a race in which all the heavy hitters in the Democratic party pulled out when GHWB had a 91% approval rating after Desert Storm and running looked like a lost cause (and, of course, he got a big assist from Perot in the general election).

Hillary is too polarizing and has a look that turns people off. I have had many of my Democrat friends say they are not going to vote for her.

And I think Obama is WAY too inexperienced to be a president. Plus, if we voted in a black man with muslim ties as president we can expect a massive backlash from middle america and probably end up with this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/28/New_map_WEB.jpg

Obama and Clinton won't win... Because you say so? Oh, well, someone send them an email, I'm sure they'll pack it in.

And if you had any friends likely to vote for either of them, they'd remind you that they would be voting in the Democratic primary.

When you say you have Democrat friends, you sort of out yourself as a Hannity-watching moron.

Not that you hadn't already done that.
