They've got a Training Table in Ogden and the food is really good. Great milkshakes.

A call out for Savannah, Ga. ... couple of requests:

    * Good dinner joint for Friday night
    * Watering hole suggestions ... not into clubbing, just a good local joint to sit with a beer and people watch
    * Any place with an affordable round of golf Saturday morning
    * A late lunch/early dinner spot for before the game Saturday

    As always, muchas gracias

For Savannah, the place to go is down by the river (no, not in a trailer). Plenty of beer-drinking, people-watching there.

Thanks, OTD. If anyone has any specific suggestions (including on the golf), please fire away.

I'll be in the Charlotte area the five days after Thanksgiving...any suggestions on places to eat, things to do...etc.

Lots of decent places to eat in Charlotte downtown near B&A Stadium on Tryon and College. Rock Bottom Brewery has excellent food and brew, plus there are a bunch of other bars and resaturants down that way.

Hoops ... thanks very much for that list ... I've got some definite ideas for a good Friday night down there. It'll probably take me about 8 hours or so to get there, so I'm heading out early tomorrow.

Dinner and drinks Friday; golf Saturday morning at Henderson Golf Club; expected ugly football game Saturday night. Maybe a trip to the beach in between.

Hell, I might as well make the most of this trip. :)

Rae Carruth says you can't beat cruising around Charlotte in the trunk of a car.

Hoops ... much props to your friend for that list. Dinner at the Conchhouse and a couple of properly drawn Guinness (Guinni?) at Kevin Barry's made for a fun night.

True. Since the person was asking about Charlotte, though, accuracy would have ruined the joke.
