Perhaps they're at odds over the residuals paid to the devil?

    Thanks

I think that’s their most underrated song.

Hall and Oates is one of the best bands of the 1970s, but the 80s totally stained what they accomplished. Their top 10 from the 70s stacks up against anyone.

I will edit this if I cannot pull 10.

I heard Sarah's Smile in a waiting room about five minutes before I found out I was going to become a dad.

    Damnit. I only pulled five.

They recorded a lot, but did give us an amazing five tunes.

    Wow.

The backstory of that song makes that timing surreal.

Fuck - I thought this song was about something different.

We flew to Seattle to see them at the Paramount theatre, stayed at the hotel, too, 6 years ago or so and it was an absolutely insanely great concert. One of the best. In full rock and roll mode. I watch Live at the Troubadour from 2008 a couple of times a year and it’s first rate. Both are gifted musicians in their own right and are a timeless matchup.
