We are in the midst of (even more) college tours and have been listening to the Only Murders podcast on Straw Hut. They can be annoying but have great access to the writers and cast.

Officer Kreps, where did that glitter come from? And you just got a "tattoo" where Mabel stabbed you on the subway? How convenient.

I think Marv's theory about the Sixth Avenue Killer may be more than a way to get him on the podcast. Kreps sort of hints that he likes young girls right at the end of the episode, which was the M.O. of Marv's mysterious murderer.

Howard's got a boyfriend! And yodeling "Sounds of Silence" is definitely not what I ever expected to hear. Especially when the entire building sings along.

So many storylines to somehow tie into everything in two episodes. I have no idea how the plot will twist now.

And have we really seen the end of Jan? For some reason, I feel she still has a part to play.

I thought the Oliver slapstick on the way to find Lucy was a bit much. And why would it be strange that Krebs was on the UWS? It’s where his precinct is located.

I think we are still dealing with multiple people — the glitter guy, the painting stealer, the painter of the forgery and the murder can all be different people.

My theory is that the season ends with Teddy dead and Oliver standing over him.

I thought the painting was going to be more central to this season. But I've mostly enjoyed it.

I’ve managed to avoid being spoiled, but apparently the last 2 episodes have been leaked and there is a lot of social media chatter (especially Reddit) on what happens.

Yeah, it's almost like the showrunners forgot the primary plot device for the past six episodes, which is OK because the other storylines are actually more interesting, but I'm interested in seeing where episode 9 takes us next.

The thing about the Shirley MacLaine reveal is that Bunny’s mother was the head of the board 17 years ago. Wouldn’t someone at the memorial notice that it wasn’t actually her mother? For example, presumably Uma being Bunny’s friend would know that it wasn’t her mother and/or know the backstory that her mother was in a home and non-communicative.

So the real painting was in the birdcage, but under the other painting. Teddy is Will's real father (like we didn't see that telegraphed). Dectective Kreps is romantically involved with Cinda Channing. And Becky Butler is alive.

I now want a Chicken Chug franchise.

Well, that sets up an interesting final episode. And Mabel can throw a punch, both verbally and physically. I fully expect her to lay out Bunny's killer, just like she did Jan in Season 1.

Now the real question: Who kicks off at the end of next week's episode to give our trio a third season?

I’m not 100% sold that Krebs is looking at Cinda in that last shot. Maybe Poppy is also there?

Why did Bunny leave the bird to Oliver knowing the original painting was there? Makes no sense as they hated each other.

I still think that Teddy will be dead in the final scene but am changing my mind about from Oliver to Will as who is standing over the body.
