    Make that 2, stalkers.

Hey - soccer fans & hators - who wants to bet I can continue to make these two buck toothed knee bites do stoopid pet tricks?

Nah - forget that. I make Bosses happy, I use Ignore Button on both.

Have great day every1. Stay cool!!! If you go out "just for kicks" - remember to drink lot's of water.

    She didn't play. Too tired.

Maybe she'll play the next time they have a 15,000 crowd.

This is among the greatest threads I can remember. Oh, and I would rather get kicked in the nuts than watch soccer. They can keep their orange slices.
You remember when soccer was really close to breaking through as a mainstream sport in this country? When it was on the verge of an explosion in popularity?
    Neither do I.

I hated soccer, then I realized that no one card that I hated it.

I think professional basketball is the stupidest game on the planet. Wow, you can dunk. Congrats. You don't see me starting a thread on why I hate it.

Then I got a mod-ed XBox and it had FIFA 05 on it. I started playing just to see if I could get good at it. I read a bit on wikipedia on the soccer pyramid and found the worst team on the game (Chester FC) and played them into the Premiership. On that route, I learned the rules, I learned formations and I learned the terminology.

Mind you, I refused to watch the game, nor did I care to.

About three years ago, I watched a few matches with a buddy of mine who was dating a German chick, she got him into watching it (which I found funny), but we watched it and it wasn't too bad. I saw how the video game related into real life and I "got it."

Last summer I challenged myself to watch a whole season of EPL and now I am a fan. I chose Wigan as the team to follow and it was a rollercoaster to the end.

A I a hardcore fan? No, I think it's still under hockey, baseball and football for me...but I can flip on a match to watch absent-mindly just like any other game now (except the NBA, such dreck) and enjoy it for what it's worth...but I'm willing to learn more about the game.

Will it be popular here? Well, define popular. It's popular...with soccer fans. And that's all that matters. To show hatred toward a game...a game?...pretty third-grade-ish to me.

    Kermit,

First off, hot chicks like football as well. Why does it have to be either/or? I like both soccer and football.
